Issue 44 returns to Absalom with the beginning of a three-part look at a realm far to the north, shrouded in ice and snow, the Mortocracy of Negrorn, a kingdom of the dead rueld over by seven lich-lords. Inlcluded is an overview of the region, with brief descriptions of the major factions and threats in the area, as well as rules for advancing characters beyond the standard BX level limits.
