Dungeons & Dragons Camp Summer 2025
Sabre is pleased to offer D&D summer camp for all kids, ages 10 to 17. Camp will take place at Sabre Games and Cards on Charlottesville's Historic, Downtown Mall, and will run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday of the week selected.
Our experienced game master will help your kids learn every aspect of the game, from creating a character to experiencing epic adventures to forging lasting memories and making friends with your adventure party. Each session has something different to offer, but they will all focus on having memorable adventures, creating dynamic characters limited only by your imagination, and making new friends. ​

Session Details
​
​Adventures will run every day from 1 to 5, with a exciting variations from week to week. The players and the DM will work together to figure out the best adventure for that group. Some weeks could have further-out variations, like adventures into space in the Spelljammer setting or starting out at a high-level, while others will stick to classic, tried-and-true D&D adventures: nothing beats a fighter, wizard, cleric, and rogue! Below, check out some of the adventure ideas our DM is considering - but remember we will always do what's best for the players!

Sail the high seas! Go away from knights and castles and into the world of pirates. Explore new lands and search for treasure with an unforgettable crew.
High-level week! Instead of starting at a low-level, you'll fill the shoes of a legendary adventurer at the height of his power and battle the most dangerous foes D&D has to offer!
To the stars! Sail the classic Spelljammer setting, where instead of horses you'll ride spaceships and instead of demons you'll do battle with aliens from beyond the stars. Perfect for fans of sci-fi.
Defend your base! Bring in Stronghold rules instead of classic D&D. Build a base just for yourself and wage war against your fellow players.
Homebrew week! Our DM will run adventures using the monsters, magic items, classes, and ideas that the players brew themselves. This week, your imagination is the limit!
Spooky week! Experience (age-appropriate) adventures with spooky twists, and discover that the monster under the bed isn't so bad if you've got a whole adventure party to take it down!
Whoddunit?! This features adventures where mysteries prevail, leaving our adventurers wondering who they can trust!
A city of gold? What about one beneath the waves? Experience a lost cities theme as our adventurers truly venture into the great unknown. What treasures await?!
All aboard the...blimp? Explore steampunk themes and aesthetics perfect for fans of the subgenre.
